NETWORK SUPPORT & USER MANAGEMENT

RentMaster is a network ready application and has multi-user support feature.
You can configure RentMaster to run on multiple computers within your local network and share the same database. RentMaster doesn't require a special dedicated server to keep your database - any computer in the network can be setup to store your database.

RentMaster gives you an option to setup multiple user accounts. Also, it gives you an option to ask for username/password every time you run the software or run the software in 'Default user mode' in which case it won't ask for username/password and will use the account marked as 'Default user' for user authentication.


You can easily add new users by using the User Manager. When you mark an user account as 'default' and RentMaster is in 'Default User Mode' the software won't show the login window and will use the default user information. When the user makes a new quote or a new order, or confirms an order, RentMaster stores the user's name with the order/quote and when it's running in Default User Mode it'll use the default user information for this purposes.

REPORTS

RentMaster gives you powerful options for reporting and printing rental agreements, orders and quotes list, customers and inventory information.
For reports you can select a single record, a group of records created between specified dates, all records, or select records by applying your custom filters and sort order.


The filtering and sorting features give you an easy way to print the records you want sorted by any field. This is very useful when you for example want to schedule the orders' delivery/pickup. You can filter the orders to have only the orders for a specific date/time, order them by zip code and as a result you'll have all the orders within a specific area printed together which is useful when you're making a decision about orders' delivery/pickup.


 

Rental Agreement

RentMaster allows you to print rental contracts/agreements.You can easily customize the default terms & conditions and have your own terms & conditions printed on the agreement.

Invoice

Invoice layout is designed to fit within 2-window envelope so you can simply fold and mail it to the customer. You can add custom text to the end of the printed invocies (thank you message, billing terms, etc. )

 

Billing Statement

You can generate billing statements for customers using several criteria (all orders, completed orders with balance dues, etc. )

 

Orders List

Orders list contains information about the order no, starting/ending date/time, customer name and address, and the list of reserved items, providing you with all the necessary information to make decisions about orders' delivery/pickup.

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

Customer information

With RentMaster you type your customer information once and start using the same information for future orders by quickly selecting them from the list. You can categorize your customers by using the Customer Type field.





Address information

 

RentMaster allows you to have more then one address associated with a customer.
There's no need to setup another customer account if an existing customer wants to have the orders delivered to different places.You just add a new address to the customer's address list and use that address for the order. You can store a reference map page number and address directions information with the address.You can label those addresses for easy recognition as well (Home, Business, Billing and so on).
To prevent orders from the areas where you don't serve RentMaster gives you an option to have a list of the zip codes where you don't take orders from. You will get a warning if the zip code of an address you're adding belongs to this list.





Orders History

RentMaster keeps the history of your customers' orders and you can quickly take a look at their past orders and payment statuses.


Payments History

RentMaster keeps the history of your customers' payments and you can quickly take a look at their payments with a single click.

Customer Files

RentMaster allow you to store customer related documents, images, emails and other files by simply dragging and dropping them onto Customer Files section.

ORDER MANAGEMENT

RentMaster gives you 2 options to manage your reservations - quotes and orders.
Quotes are useful when the customers just want some pricing information and are not ready to place an actual order yet.

Quotes

RentMaster requires minimal information to make a quote. You enter the customer name and phone number, specify event's date and time and select the inventory items. You can easily turn any quote into an order - just click on the 'Move to Orders' button and RentMaster will move the quote information to orders database and will ask for additional information to complete all necessary fields for the order, such as complete customer information and address, delivery type, surface type and so on.
Before moving any quote to orders database RentMaster verifies that selected inventory items for the specified date are still available for rent and will give a warning if even one item is not available anymore.
Also, if RentMaster finds an existing customer with the same name or phone number, it will automatically use the existing customer information and address to complete the order.

 

To search for a quote you can quickly sort any field alphabetically by clicking on the column's header or locate the quote by clicking on a cell and typing the first characters of the field - RentMaster will try to located a record that matches with the typed text.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

RentMaster gives you an ability to effectively organize your inventory for easy management and access.

Categories

You can store your inventory items in separate categories and subcategories. This will help you to keep your inventory organized and easy accessible. You can mark any category as 'Available for sale' to store products that you sell instead of renting them out.


Product Information

RentMaster keeps inventory item's general product information separate from the inventory item information. This way you just link your inventory item to a specific product and you don't need to type the same product information again and again while adding similar inventory items. Products information table contain only general information about the product, such as product name, size, weight, safety/setup instruction and the picture.




Inventory

After having your categories and product information setup you can quickly add new inventory items to your inventory. Simply specify the product associated with the inventory item, assign an inventory number, serial number or quantity and default price. You can temporarily remove an inventory item from available products list while making reservations by unchecking 'Available for rent' checkbox.



 

Sets

You can use sets to quickly add a group of inventory items to your orders or quotes. A set is simply an alias to this group of inventory items and when you are adding a set to your order/quote RentMaster will actually add the inventory items associated with this set to the order/quote.
